The island nation of Madagascar provides a lush environment to grow cacao of all varieties. Seeing that potential, visionaries brought cacao trees from Venezuela to Madagascar in the late 1800s. Today, the children of those trees are producing beans for Amano's single–origin Madagascar bar.
